Hunter Green Roofing and Coventry Siding in Pittsburgh 15216

The owner of this two-and-a-half-story Pittsburgh home knew the roof was at least 20 years old. There was no active leak driving the job; the goal was to replace aging exterior materials before problems began.

Project Overview

  • Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15216
  • Completed: August 7, 2026
  • Combined project: 3 working days
  • Materials and finishes: GAF Timberline HDZ, Hunter Green; Deck-Armor; Alside Coventry siding

The starting point

The homeowner had researched Alside Coventry vinyl siding and requested that product. Hunter Green shingles and black gutters were selected to complement the home’s multicolored brick and create a different exterior look.

Roof replacement in Pittsburgh

MY Pittsburgh Roofing removed the old roofing and installed GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in Hunter Green. The roof work included Deck-Armor underlayment, ice-and-water protection, starter shingles, pipe flashing, step or wall flashing, chimney flashing, and gutter apron.

  • Full shingle roof replacement
  • Underlayment and roof flashing
  • Alside Coventry vinyl siding
  • Final cleanup and inspection

Alside Coventry siding and seamless aluminum gutters were included in the broader exterior project. Changing the gutters from white to black was a distinct part of the visual update. The team worked at a property with on-street parking rather than driveway access.

The result

The combined project was completed in three working days and checked at a final inspection. The homeowner liked the new color combination, with better gutter drainage and improved curb appeal after the work.
