Low-Slope Roof Replacement with Parapet Work in Pittsburgh 15235
An active interior leak brought MY Pittsburgh Roofing to this single-story Pittsburgh home. The low-slope roof was old, with torn or cracked material and deteriorated flashing.
The assessment found an additional roofing layer and unusual sealing around the chimney. The job required more than replacement of the exposed roof surface: parapet and chimney details were also included.

Chimney and pipe flashing
Old foam was removed from the chimney area, and new aluminum flashing was installed at the chimney base. Flashing at the other chimney and roof penetrations was also included. The work addressed the roofing connections, with the upper exposed brick left in place.
The result
The work took three working days and received a final project inspection. The roof had been replaced, and the interior leak was no longer occurring.
