Project Overview
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15206
Completed: September 4, 2026
Project duration: 2 working days
Materials and finishes: GAF Timberline HDZ, Pewter Grey; Deck-Armor; roof flashing
The starting point
The flat-roof membrane was peeling away from the decking, and flashing had deteriorated. The pitched section showed age-related wear and moss or algae growth. The two-story home also had two chimneys to account for in the roof work.
Roof replacement in Pittsburgh
MY Pittsburgh Roofing removed the existing roofing, completed decking work, and replaced the roofing system. Pewter Grey GAF Timberline HDZ shingles and Deck-Armor underlayment were used on the shingled portion, with ice-and-water protection and starter shingles included in the scope.
