Rear Porch Roofing and Siding Work in McKees Rocks
Damaged front siding was the homeowner’s main concern at this two-story property in McKees Rocks. The assessment also identified loose wall sections, deteriorated gutters, and a rear porch roof needing replacement.
The main roof also needed attention, but the homeowner chose not to replace it as part of this project. The agreed work therefore focused on the porch roofing and selected exterior components, rather than a whole-house reroof.

The roofing scope included removal of existing material, premium underlayment, ice-and-water protection, starter shingles, and new asphalt shingles in Pewter Grey. Vinyl siding replacement, white aluminum gutters, and downspouts were completed within the wider exterior project.

The boundary of the job is important: replacing the rear porch roofing did not mean replacing the main roof. The siding and gutter improvements addressed separate parts of the property that also required work.
The result
The combined work took three working days and received a final project inspection. Siding-related leaking had stopped, the gutters were draining properly, and the completed exterior work improved the home’s appearance.
