Excellent experience with MY Pittsburgh Roofing. I live out of state and this whole process started when I got a call that part of my parent’s very old roof had blown off during a bad storm. I googled for companies (in a panic of course) and this company came up. I called, Kiara answered (she’s great!) and very quickly I had a team scheduled to come out and tarp the roof (a temporary measure while I figured some other stuff out.)
I had to call back once because some of the tarps had slipped from more storms (not their fault) and within a day or 2, there were guys back out there to adjust them. They were always super responsive – hard to find a company that is these days.
Overall, project went great. Gino made recommendations for what needed replaced (basically everything…fascia, gutters, chimney cap and of course the roof). Quote was very reasonable and the guys worked hard for many days (through all that wildfire smoke) and the house looks absolutely fantastic.
You’ll get drone shots before and after. Since I can’t be on site myself, I really appreciated these.
On top of all this, the roof was asbestos so I had that to deal with that – but Gino worked really well with my asbestos contractor to coordinate the timing and process.
I’d recommend them a hundred times over!

We built our house 18 years ago & our shingles started to disintegrate & we had a small leak. I had 3 different roofing estimates & MY Pittsburgh Roofing was the most thorough with their inspection & explanation of their services/company. Logan was great from start to finish. Their pricing was incredibly fair compared to other roofing companies that use the exact same shingle brand. One of the companies we had come out for an estimate literally gave me an estimate twice as much as MY Pittsburgh Roofing, I was shocked and called him out on it because they use the same brand of shingles with the same warranty. James was our project manager, his communication was amazing as well! The crew worked hard and cleaned up nicely. I didn’t even find 1 nail when they were done, which made me incredibly happy! The dumpster was in and out of our driveway in 1 day! I have already recommended them to my friends!

We had what I thought was a missing shingle but ended up being a defective shingle where the granules washed away. Gino flew his drone to assess first and also found a second similar shingle. In addition to replacing the defective shingles, he inspected our roof, chimney and gutters. He was super thorough and sent us tons of before and after pictures. He was the only roofer willing to tackle our small job and we are thankful.

Gino and his team were great durning the whole roof replacement process. Pricing was great compared to the other quotes I received. They cleaned up after and made sure everything was immaculate. The roof looks great, and was done very professionally. I also had a special request not to use the driveway for the equipment or dumpster since I just had it paved. He and his team went above and beyond to accommodate that. They stayed completely off the driveway and even covered and protected it as well. I couldn’t be more pleased with them, their work, and professionalism. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs their roof done. Both our house and garage roofs sustained wind damage earlier this spring and needed full replacement. James came to the table with lots of experience working with insurance companies and walked us through what to expect with the process on both ends. When the insurance company needed clarification, James communicated with them directly to sort out some of the details.
We were given a rough 6-8 week lead time from when we signed the contract to when we could expect the work to be completed, and it fell perfectly within that window! James gave us a call the week before to confirm timing and details beforehand. We were also provided a link to view and access all pictures from the project. The crew that came was very professional – fast, clean, and respectful of our property. They even covered my baby tomato plant so it wouldn’t be crushed by the debris during teardown!

Our roof, including flashing and parapets, was a nightmare mishmash of work done on our 180-year-old house by lots of folks over the years.
Now our roof is the best looking part of our house!
Gino and team took care of permits and cars on the street, cleaned up after every day including any debris that fell on the neighbor’s roof, did a LOT of custom flashing to cover parapets, added vents that the old roof never had, and immediately took care of every question we had BEFORE invoicing us a dime. They photographed and documented every step of the way, including any photos that we took of concerns or questions that we had, with aerial drone views.
Our roof went from being a nightmare to us every time it rained to being a thing of beauty.
